St. Mark’s Cathedral is a parish of approximately 400 families from the Northern New Jersey area. St. Mark’s Cathedral is also the seat of the Archbishop Mor Cyril Aphrem Karim, who is the spiritual head of the Archdiocese of the Syrian Orthodox Church for the Eastern United States.
